I offer services in all areas of dentistry, whether it is preventive care to maintain the smile you have, minimal bonding techniques to restore worn teeth, or a complete smile rejuvenation to rebuild what can get lost over the years.
I believe the best dentistry is often achieved with a team approach, and I maintain valued working relationships with specialists in the area to ensure convenience and high quality care if a referral is necessary. I value getting to know you with each visit to understand your personal motivations, outlooks and goals.
I earned my B.A. in English & American Literature from New York University and absolutely loved living in New York City.
I moved to Buffalo, New York, and earned my D.D.S from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
I completed advanced education through the hospital-based General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota Fairview Clinic.
I continue my education throughout my career with professional Study Clubs around the Twin Cities, hands-on courses at Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Implant Pathway.
The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Mary Philp, DDS, FAGD, of Waconia, MN received the prestigious Fellowship Award during the AGD’s convocation ceremony. The celebration recognizes AGD member’s commitment to excellence in dental education. During the event at the AGD’s Scientific Session on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Philp accepted this award.
The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To receive this award, Dr. Philp completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Philp has joined an elite group of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
